About Us

Two years ago, we moved into a new workshop just outside of Mounds, Oklahoma. This is where we conduct all our repair work as well as action regulations, rebuilds, and any other more labor intensive work that cannot be done on site. If you would like a tour of our facility, you can contact Cynthia or Travis to schedule an appointment.

Cynthia Jenkins

Cynthia has been working in the piano service industry  as an independent piano technician since 1997.  Cynthia learned the trade of Piano Tuning in an apprenticeship with respected long-time local piano technician, Herman Jenkins, her father-in-law. She has trained at the Steinway and Sons factory in New York, NY, Yamaha Corporation in Buena Park, CA, and Seiler/Samick in Gallatin, TN.  Cynthia specializes in piano tuning, voicing, and action regulation. She handles most of our service calls and tunings.

Travis Jenkins

Travis has been working on pianos full time since 1992 when he graduated from the University of Tulsa. His expertise ranges from detailed piano repair and rebuilding to player installation. He first learned to fix pianos from his father, Herman Jenkins, and went on to complete Yamaha's training program (The Little Red School House) in Buena Park, CA. He also finished his formal player installation training at both the Baldwin factory in Truman, AR and the Mason and Hamlin factory in Haverhill, MA. Travis primarily works out of our workshop, working on rebuilding vintage pianos, and also goes out on service calls to help diagnose problems and conduct diverse repairs on site. Travis specializes in digital player installation, installing them on older pianos and new.
